How to run for the PLBRA Board

It's that time of year again:  Holidays and PLBRA Board elections.  We'd love for you to get involved - it's easy.  Here are the steps:

1. Join PLBRA before Dec. 10, 2021.
2. Send an email to Park LaBrea Residents Association indicating your intention to run.
   
3. Write up a short statement about why you'd like to be part of the Board.
   
4. We'll contact you to participate in a candidates' meeting and to publish the statement in the PLBRA newsletter.
   
5. VOTE! We will be conducting the election by mail again this year.  Ballots must be returned by 3:00 pm Jan 9th, 2022.
   

We conducted the 2021 elections via mail for the first time ever. Because of a glitch in how the mailing envelopes were marked, we ended up with only five board members, when we can actually have up to 30. 

We'll make sure the envelopes are clearly marked this year. So be on the lookout for ballots in December.  #CommunityStrong
