Q. Why should I join the Residents Association?
A. Although we speak for all the residents, if you are a member of the association it gives you the power to vote for who you want to speak for you.It also allows you to run for the board as well.
Q. What is the best way to reach the PLBRA?

Q. So if I am not a member, I can still call you and reach out if I have issues?
A. Absolutely. We are here for everyone. We would hope that if you are turning to us all the time that you see our value and would want join.
Q. How much does becoming a PLBRA member cost?
A. It is $20 for an individual and $30 for a family.
Q. Can I participate in committees and help with things with out joining?
A. Yes. We welcome everyone who wants to help. But joining just give us more freedom to do things for the community, as we have bills to pay too.
Q. What are some of the things the Residents Association does?
A. We have a few committees this year. Including an Outreach Committee that helps folks who need an extra hand. We have a Land Use Committee that tracks what is happening on the outside of Park La Brea and keeps us all up to date. We have a committee that is set up to keep an eye on rent, market rates, and AirBnB issues. We also run the newsletter (always looking for folks to participate in that)!
Q. What if I want to do something for the newsletter or take out an ad?

Q. I have a safety concern do I call you?
A. If it is a life threatening situation please call 911. For everything else (noise complaints, you got locked out, etc), call PLB Patrol at 323.549.5509.
Q. What if something breaks in my apartment?
A. Call PLB Service 323.549.5599.
Q. I have a question about my lease, having trouble making payments, want to move out, or get a new apartment here at PLB?
A. Accounts Receivable Team (email regarding your lease, lease end date, ledger charges, payments, or to request/submit a Notice To Vacate)
Q. The shared washer/dryer are broken in my tower/garden area, who do I call to fix this?
A. You can log onto: https://www.wash.com/service-request. Scroll down to fill out information (need 6 digit machine ID displayed on outside of unit) or call 800.421.6897
Q. I want to cancel my pool/gym membership or get one?
A. You must bring a photo ID and copy of your lease to the pool admin office. For further questions contact [email protected]
