Residents First, with an Actual Record.
PLBRA keeps residents informed, advocates for the rights of all residents, and serves as a voice to Park La Brea management, the City of Los Angeles, and the State of California.
Twelve thousand neighbors. 240 acres of mid-century towers stretching from Curson Avenue to Burnside Circle. One independent association that stands between residents and the institutions that influence daily life here.
We’ve been heard, and in response, PLB management is making changes across the property.PLBRA Newsletter · Resident Report
In 1985, a handful of Park La Brea residents gathered because a problem needed solving. They solved it, and then they kept going. What followed was four decades of quiet, practical resident advocacy: meetings, records, pressure, research, letters, elections, and follow-through.
PLBRA exists so residents have a durable association with standing, memory, and accountability. Not a comment thread. Not a flyer. Not a symbolic gesture. A resident-funded organization that keeps showing up when utility billing, asbestos disclosure, key access, city policy, maintenance communication, and neighborhood life affect the people who live here.
PLBRA keeps residents informed, advocates for the rights of all residents, and serves as a voice to Park La Brea management, the City of Los Angeles, and the State of California.
We are not affiliated with Park La Brea management or any property company. Membership dues and donations are the only source of funding.
When utility overcharges happen, when asbestos is found, and when policy threatens quality of life, PLBRA is the organized, independent resident voice in the room.
