Don't know who to choose? Watch the video below from PLBRA's Candidate Forum on May 15th, which was attended by all four candidates. Then take the survey. Please note that we are requiring names, email addresses and unit numbers, as this as an official advisory vote open to PLB residents only. We will not be keeping or using that data - its for verification purposes only. And don't forget: The primary election is June 7th. You should have already received a ballot in the mail. You can vote in person, by mail, or by depositing your ballot in the any official drop box - the nearest one is at the Fairfax branch of the LA Library.

The Park LaBrea Residents Association is hosting a forum for the four candidates running for our City Council District (District 5). The forum will be held on May 15th from 2 to 3:30 pm in the theater in the Activities Center. We encourage all interested residents to attend. All four candidates will be present. There will be introductions, a panel discussion, and a chance for residents to ask questions. The primary election is coming up on June 7th, so this is a great opportunity to learn more about the candidates before you vote. The candidates are Katy Young Yaroslavsky, Sam Yebri, Scott Epstein, and Jimmy Biblarz, if you’d like to learn more about them in advance of the forum. Please note that while vaccination status is not required, attendees will be required to sign a COVID waiver upon entering the theater. PLBRA is hoping to make arrangements to record the forum for those residents who cannot attend. Please check back here for updates.
