I'd like to run for a board seat because I know life here can be a little bit better and below are my focus areas of improvement:
--Security of our workers and residents of Park La Brea so we all feel safer walking at night, given the increase of follow-home robberies.
--Facility improvements so our places like our "dog park" looks better than the mud pit it is now. We should be provided a road map of planned improvements and give voice to what's most important to us residents. Why do our garages leak during rainstorms, garbage overflows our basements, and could the kids park in tower 43 be improved or demolished so it doesn't look like something out of a horror scene?
--Building our Community through PLBRA social media and in-person events. I'd aim for a 2X increase in membership and social engagement as the more of us engage with this Association, the more influence we'll have on Management.
-- Package security so we don't have to wonder if our Amazon packages got broken into while we're at work.
It's been a strange 2 years but I love it here and have found solace in our little community, it's parks, and swimming pools that have helped me keep sane during this trying time. As a Television Producer, I would use my skills in production and communication to push for changes here at Park La Brea.
