Greetings! I'd like to introduce myself as a candidate for the PLBRA Board. My family and I are long-time Angelenos but brand new to Park La Brea. In fact, we just moved in in November! My family consists of myself, my lovely wife Liv (pronounced "leave"), my 14-year- old daughter Michelle, and our newest addition Mark Jr. who just turned 17 months old. We live in a townhouse near Orange Grove and Ogden, and we couldn't be more excited about joining the Park La Brea community. I'm especially thankful that little Mark Jr. has such a great place to grow up, and Michelle has a safe and wonderfully convenient environment for her high school years (she goes to Fairfax High, go Lions!)
I'm an entrepreneur at heart, an IT professional who owns and operates my own start-up software company. I've also been a professional record producer, post-production film editor, and a semi-professional musician. I'm an environmentalist, socially liberal but fiscally conservative. I'd love to have your vote to help guide the PLBRA to benefit all renters with my leadership experience and problem- solving skills (my nickname in the family is "Mr. Fix-It" :) As a Board Member, I would also try to engage with residents, to hear about issues we all share and your ideas on how to continue to improve our wonderful community.
