Clean and Green

THE QUESTION OF WHICH BAG

All merchants are happy to provide us with a bag/sack/poke to carry our purchases home in. The media carry frequent and ardent answers to the question of Which Bag. Plastic? Paper? Lots of detail and heat; no light. What’s a concerned customer to do?

We can:

·     Re-use our plastic and paper bags. 

·     Use strong, well made cloth bags.

·     Use crates. 

·     How about no bag at all when you have only bought a few items?

·     Keep the cloth bags in our cars, so they are ready when we shop.

But whatever we do, we must do it regularly. Good intentions don’t work.
