7/5 – PAUL BLART: MALL COP (2009) Rated PG
91 minutes – Kevin James ("King of Queens") stars in this comedy as Paul Blart, an overzealous security guard who finds himself in way over his head when he attempts to thwart a criminal mastermind's (Keir O'Donnell) plot to rob an entire shopping mall. Bobby Cannavale (Snakes on a Plane), Jayma Mays and Shirley Knight also star in this family-friendly film from director Steve Carr.
7/12 – GRAN TORINO (2008) Rated R (16+)
116 minutes – Crusty, inflexible, Korean War veteran Walt Kowalski (Clint Eastwood) must confront his immigrant neighbors – and his own long-held prejudices – when the neighbor's teen son, Thao, tries to steal Walt's beloved 1972 Gran Torino. Walt soon assumes the unlikely role of guardian angel to young Thao and his sister, who are vulnerable to disturbing gang influences in their neighborhood. This drama was also directed by 78-year-old Eastwood.
7/19 – Revolutionary Road (2008) Rated R (16+)
119 minutes – Based on a novel by Richard Yates and set in the mid-1950s, this film follows the Wheelers (Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet, in a Golden Globe-winning role), a young couple living in suburban Connecticut who try desperately to confront the problems in their relationship while raising two children.
7/26 – DOUBT (2008) Rated R

104 minutes – In a Catholic elementary school in the Bronx, Sister Aloysius (Meryl Streep) begins to have doubts about one of the priests, Father Flynn (Philip Seymour Hoffman), who seems to have become overly involved in the life of a young African American pupil. But Flynn isn't the only one she has doubts about. Is she overreacting to the situation or is there a truth that needs to be discovered? John Patrick Shanley's drama was nominated for five Oscars and co-stars Amy Adams and Viola Davis.
