Clean & Green in Park La Brea - By Adine Porino, On Saturday, October 25, I took the Puente Hills Water Reclamation and Landfill tour. Our sewage water can be transformed  into usable water, called grey water, in 12 hours, which can be used to water plants. Bacteria cleans our water as it would have in nature. However, chemicals, such as medications still present a problem to the water reclamation process.
Dec - Nuts & Bolts
Nuts & Bolts - By Zhita Rea, Ask the Managers: As a result of writing this column, I am having and taking the opportunity to know a lot more about the inside workings of Park La Brea (PLB) — from the perspectives of PLB Management and of the PLB Residents Association. As I “ask the managers” the questions which you, as residents have posed, I am learning a lot about how issues are identified, considered and resolved. What follows is a summary of my experiences and the answers to many of your questions.

Park La Brea - Parking Tips - My car is in the shop and I have a temporary car, is it ok for me to park the temporary car on the property? Yes it is ok, however the car must be from a rental agency. Bring the rental agency contract to the PLB Administration Building and you will be issued a temporary parking pass for the rental car.
