Our Purpose

The purpose of the Park LaBrea Residents Association (PLBRA) is to protect resident's rights, to provide a viable liaison with Park La Brea Management, and to contribute to enhancing the quality of life in our community. PLBRA represents the residents of Park La Brea. It is their voice in this changing community. 

The Park La Brea apartment consists of 4224 apartments and boasts a culturally diverse population ranging from 10,000 to 11,000 residents. It is located on 167 acres in the heart of the nation's second largest city. It is in fact, a small town or village.

  • Emergencies
  • Call 911 FIRST then contact the Park La Brea Patrol at (323) 549-5508.
  • Elevator Problems
  • PLB Management reports that vandalism has contributed significantly to elevator malfunctions. PLBRA believes that each of us must be vigilant and report offenders to Patrol. In the spirit of “Neighbors Helping Neighbors” we can help to eliminate this unnecessary element of a serious problem.
  • Rodent/Pest Problems
  • PLB Management is currently taking aggressive pest control measures to rectify this health problem.
  • Common Area Problems
  • Common Area Maintenance Problems should be reported to the PLB Service Department in the same manner as service requests for residential units. The Park La Brea Service Department can be contacted in two ways: by Telephone: (323) 549-5599 or by E-mail: plbservice@parklabrea.com. (When making your request specify that it is a Common Area Problem) Community Concerns, on the other hand, should be reported to the Park LaBrea Residents Association (PLBRA). PLBRA can be reached by telephone: (323) 934-1177; by e-mail: plbra@ca.rr.com or through this website.
  • Lack of responsiveness at the Patrol Office
  • PLB Management requests that residents experiencing difficulty in reaching the Patrol Office make a note of the Date/Time of the occurrence and report the problem to the PLB Administrative Office at (323) 549-5400. (The Date/Time notation is essential to the resolution of this critical issue.)
